The government's plans for the future of broadband in the UK don't go far enough to protect small firms according to the Federation of Small Businesses.
The FSB says that six in ten small businesses aren't happy with the speed and reliability of their internet connections and that many are not getting the service they were promised by their ISPs.
The FSB wants the government's Digital Economy Bill, currently making its way through parliament, changed so that it can hold ISPs to their claims of speed and reliability.
It also wants to see a minimum reliable connection speed of eight megabits, four times faster than the two megabits currently envisaged by the government.
