Online bill payment specialist iPay Technologies has launched a new service that allows small businesses to invoice electronically straight from their
website.
The solution, called Billpayperless, allows businesses to create and send branded invoices electronically, which are then available to the customer to action immediately.
They have the option to pay by credit card or PayPal, with the business owner receiving a text or email alert as soon as the funds have been deposited in their business account.
The move comes as online payments begin to look as if they may be coming of age.
Social networking site Facebook recently announced that it would work with PayPal to provide payment solutions for firms buying adverts – making life a lot easier for small firms based outside the USA that want to make use of the site's potential.
