The Society of Merchant Venturers has formed a new partnership with the Prince's Trust to help young people in Bristol launch business careers.
Five of the Merchants have become mentors and will now provide support, one-to-one business coaching and ongoing support for young entrepreneurs.
Lucy Bember recently achieved her dream of opening her own salon ICON Beauty, with the help of Andrew Nisbet, Chairman of the Youth Committee and one of the mentors.
He said "I'm very proud to be working in partnership with the Prince’s Trust; the programme fits extremely well with the ethos of the Society of Merchant Venturers".
