Virgin Media has noted that their fibre optic network is to thank for their strong second-quarter performance, as it offers users superfast internet.
The firm offers speeds of up to 50 megaits per second and the number of people opting for that service has soared by 28 per cent, compared to the first three months of the year.
The company is looking for new ways to expand its four-million-plus user base, so that more people have access to its high speed internet.
